She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Helmick and Ethel Landes Helmick; her husband Raymond Edgar Smith; and her grandson Johnny Fishel. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ann Fishel (Gary) of Winchester, VA and Gary Lee Smith (Donna) of Stephens City, VA; and her grandchildren, John Fishel (Carol), Crystal Ford (Reco), Eric Fishel (Laura), Adam Fishel (Amber) and Jennifer Bailey (Allen). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
