Nancy Gore Chapman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Gore Chapman of Stephens City, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Nancy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nancy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walter and Esther Kipps Hoskins Gore; and her son Brian Neal Chapman. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Lee Chapman; and her nieces, Lynn Jenkins, Sharon Cabiness and Pam Scott.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Maddox Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Front Royal, VA 22630). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
