She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard T. Vann and Rhetta Barb Vann; her husband Joseph R. Helsley, Jr.; her daughters, Debra Romero Taylor (Randy), Vicky Helsley Jones Hammond (Eric) and Penny Helsley Holt (John); her grandchildren, Joseph Jones (Danielle), Lee Edmonds (Chelsea) and Evelyn Holt Ashkan; and her great grandchildren, Maddy (Brian), Carson (Amanda), Braelyn Jones, Harper, Hayden Edmonds and Charlotte Ashkan.
She asked that no flowers be sent but donations be made in her honor to Blue Ridge Care, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601 who lovingly cared for her husband or to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
