He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Granville and Vergie May Stoneburner Hoover; his wife Peggy Easton; his siblings, Dean Hoover of Woodstock, Dwight Hoover of Woodstock and Elaine Mowery of Woodstock; and the mother of his children Rebecca Ann "Becky" Hoover.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne of Middletown, VA, Kevin Hoover of Middletown, VA, Hank Hoover (Kim Hoover) of Woodstock, VA and Sheila Hoover of Woodstock. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
