He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Billy" Umbenour and Leona Umbenour Nichols (Brannon); his wife Margaret Umbenour (Lockhart); his brothers, Douglas and Charlie Umbenour; his stepdaughter Robin Dillow; and his stepgranddaughter Lisa Maher.
He is survived by: his son Tracy Umbenour (Michelle); his granddaughter Julia; his siblings, Willie Umbenour (Joyce) and Susie Hobday (Joe); his stepchildren, Linda Allamong (Steve), Bracky Dunlap (Debra), Jeff Dunlap (Robin) and Kevin Dunlap (Angie); and his grandchildren, J. D., Chris, Shawn, Skipper, Jeffrey, Danni, Loretta, Sheena, Mark, Sarah, Danielle, Jessica and Mindy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Winchester Church of God (2080 N Frederick Pike, Winchester, VA 22603). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Mount Olive Cemetery (327 Mt Olive Rd, Winchester, VA 22602).
