He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Kaye Carter of Virginia; his grandchildren, Meagan Carter of California and Jonathan Carter of West Virginia; and his siblings, Jim Barrick (Jan), Rick Barrick (Tracey), Ed Barrick (Jen), Joan Upton and Dena Wallace (Phil). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
