She was predeceased by: her husband Sam "Bud" McGinnis; and her daughters, Cindy Shipe and Robin Lusk. She is survived by: her children, Shary Crabtree, Janet Hildreth and Jack Thompson (Carol). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and over sixty great and great, great grandchildren.
