Washington (late Earl); her siblings-in-law, Marie Hammond, Genevie Lynch, Howard Cook, Alfred Junior Cook and Sterling Cook; her daughter Ellen Loleta Thaxton; and her grandchildren, Alicia Nelson (Larry) of Culpeper, VA, Jessica Thaxton Taylor (Caleb) of Harpers Ferry, WV, William J Thaxton, III of Gainesville, Amber Thaxton of Gainesville, VA, Aliyah Thaxton of Gainesville, VA, Joshua Thaxton of Gainesville, VA, Noel Hopkins of Manassas, VA and Emma Samantha Bowles of Manassas, VA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Sterling (21449 Potomac View Rd, Sterling, VA 20164). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the National Memorial Park.
