Thompson of Sterling, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband Robert Thompson; her children, Eric, Jeffrey and Karin (Cerniglia); and her siblings, Patricia Shrieves, John and Harry Miller. She is also survived by spouses, six grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Adams-Green Funeral Chapel (721 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (46639 Algonkian Pkwy, Sterling, VA 20165). A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery (831 Dranesville Rd, Herndon, VA 20170). A reception was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at 1151 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170.
