He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Kurzeja, and Marguerite Anna Kurzeja, Sr.; and his sister Mary Margaret Troilo (Ye-Ye). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Barbara J. Kurzeja and John A. Kurzeja, III (Shari); his granddaughters, Lindsay Blanks (Eric), Bailey Kurzeja-Strother (Zach) and Olivia Kurzeja; his great grandchildren, Abby and Elliot Blanks; and his brother William C. Kurzeja, Sr. (Loraine).
