Olaf Emil Halvorsen Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 22, 2025, at the age of 76, Olaf Emil Halvorsen of Sterling, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Olaf departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Olaf may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Olaf leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rose Mary Halvorsen; his mother Mary Halvorsen; his siblings, Anne Marie, Kathy, Kris and Ginny; and his parent Olaf Emil Halvorsen II. He was also cherished by his wife, sons, daughter-in-law, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
