He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Essington Jr. and Josephine Stroker Essington; his daughter Carmen; and his wife Judy Essington. He is survived by: his children, Robert Ray Essington, Jr. and Renee Essington; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his grandchildren, Robbie, Jocelyn, Dule, Tanner and Summer; and his great grandchild Eleanora.
