He was predeceased by: his parents, Attorney William C. O'Brien and Dorothy Ward O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rae O'Brien; his children, Patricia O'Brien, Alicia O'Brien, Andrea Ingebretsen, William O'Brien and Kimberly O'Brien; his grandchildren, Rachel, Brian, Grace and Ari; his great grandchild Ethan; and his sister Alberta "Betts" Clippinger of Nashville, TN..
