It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward N. Eisentrout of Strasburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John William and Martha Helen Eisentrout (Nedrow); his wife Marilynn Joyce Eisentrout (Ludwick); and his siblings, Erma Eisentrout, Martha Friend, Emogene Fisher, Edna Sebold, Wendell, Clarence and Bill Eisentrout.

He is survived by : his son Wesley M. Eisentrout (Jill) of Strasburg; his granddaughters, Stephanie Eisentrout and Jennifer Anderson; his great grandchildren, Gohan and Thora Novak; and his sister Virginia Boone of Morgantown.
