She was predeceased by : her parents, Fitzhugh Lee and Elizabeth Katherleen Lindamood Pingley; her husband Howard Ray McDonald, Jr.; her son Tony McDonald; and her siblings, Frances Lee Pingley, Mary Alice Pingley, Daryl Bauserman and Lula Mae Pingley Stokes.

She is survived by : her son Howard McDonald (Lisa) of Strasburg, VA; her grandchildren, Shaunie McDonald Kittinger (Kevin) and Maranda McDonald Fadeley (Dustin); her great grandchild Isabella Kittinger; her daughter-in-law Denise McDonald; her siblings, Bessie Pingley Clem and Ernie Pingley (Ann); and her sister-in-law Marcy Bauserman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
