It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Picerno (Strasburg, Virginia), who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Nicholas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nicholas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Mario Nicholas. He is survived by: his wife Kathy of New Market, VA; and his son Nicholas of North Potomac, MD..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stover Funeral Home (177 N Holliday St, Strasburg, VA 22657). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (799 Baltimore St, Gettysburg, PA 17325).
