He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Earl, Eleanor Rinker, Charles and Arlena Barbe; his uncles, Bob Barbe, Gary Barbe, Donnie Barbe and Lee Sutherland; and his aunt Freeda Funk.

He is survived by: his parents, Earl Rinker and Sharon Rinker; his wife Elizabeth; his children, Lydia, Brianna, Justin, Orion and Andrew; his grandchildren, Brendon and Nathan; his brother Scott Rinker (Debbie); his aunts, Penny Sutherland and Betty Ann Rinker; and his uncle Bill Barb. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
