He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Matthews Willette and Alvin Alfred Willette Sr.; his wife Kay Washburn Willette; his son Jeff Willette; and his grandson Alec Willette.
He is survived by: his sons, Hunter Willette (Angela) of Belmont, NC and David Willette (Brandi) of Chatham, VA; his grandchildren, Chase, Ryan, Eli, Austin Willette, Chris and Bryan Barnes; and his great grandchild Castor Willette.
