He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Willard Leath and Stella Easter Leath; his siblings, Elizabeth Jane Leath, Raymond Dale Leath and Michael Ray Leath; and the mother of his children Shirley Mae Vipperman Leath.

He is survived by: his children, Billy Gene Leath, Jr. (Donna), Michael Leath (Carol), Tina Young (Eric) and Rhonda Barrett; and his siblings, Barbara, Carolyn, Pat, Tamma and Wade. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
