He is survived by: his wife Linda Taylor Wood; his daughters, Sherry Wood Smith, Sharon Wood Cheek (Mike) and Deanne Wood Fitzgerald (Jeff); his grandchildren, Christopher Cheek, Jess, Amanda Brown-VanDorn, Ashley, Wesley Cheek, Autumn, Tyler Fitzgerald, Michaela, Lanie Chase Fitzgerald and Paxton Fitzgerald; his great grandchildren, Greyson Cheek, Holden Bledsoe, Kinsley Rae Cheek, Caden Cheek, Abigail Brown, Aliyah Morrison and Lucas Morrison; his siblings, Mary Etta Shores (Mike), Lou Jane Shores (Phillip), Karen Lloyd (Frank) and Mark Wood; and his close friends, Bill Nixon, Johnny Haynes and Johnny Gentry.
