He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie C. Rorrer and Fannie Lawless Rorrer; his daughter Lorie Rorrer Jones; and his siblings, Hortense Crawford, Maynard Rorrer, J. W. "Chappy" Rorrer and English Rorrer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Scott Rorrer; his son Sammy Rorrer (Karen) of Stuart; his grandchildren, Cody Lawless, Tommy Lawless (Brittany), Taylor Lawless and Denise Hoffman (Logan); his great grandchildren, Leia Lawless, Lorelai Lawless, Cambria Altis, Allesia Hutchens, Brayden Hoffman and Brooks Hoffman; and his sister Maureen Blankenship of Collinsville.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sycamore Baptist Church (179 Sycamore Church Rd, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
