She was predeceased by: her father Amos Reed Clifton; her husband Earl Thomas Hazelwood; her son Larry Thomas Hazelwood; her sisters, Nellie Clifton, Minnie Mitchell, Dora Hawkins, Reva Key, Elma Hazelwood, Clarice Dempsey and Bertha Blackard; and her daughter-in-law Emily Hazelwood.
She is survived by: her mother Anna Lee Cruise Clifton; her children, Wayne Hazelwood, David Hazelwood, Kenneth Hazelwood and Lisa Boles (Darrell); her grandson Brandon Boles (Alyssa); her great grandchild William Ray Boles; and her siblings, Lucy Nowlin and Thomas Clifton (Gayle). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
