With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Mitchell Warren (Stuart, Virginia), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert K. Mitchell Jr. and Kathlyn Gaynell Meeks Mitchell; and her siblings, Shirley Mitchell Sutphin, Kathlyn Mitchell Foster, Robert Kerr Mitchell, III and Timothy Hill Mitchell.
She is survived by : her brothers, William Edward Mitchell, Thomas Franklin Mitchell and Jack Terrill Mitchell; her sons, Eugene Mitchell (Gene) and John Richard Warren (Karmon); her grandchildren, Caroline Warren Montgomery (Rick), Charles Mitchell Warren, John Alexander Warren and Elliott Michael Warren; and her great grandchild Thomas Fort Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 146 East Main Street, Martinsville, Va., 24112Services will be held at a later date.
