He was predeceased by: his parents, Earlie Goad and Kayoulah Marshall Goad; his daughter Tina Goad; his siblings, Mary Lou Lawless Dawson, Shelby Lawless, Bob, Arwin, Lewis and Brainard Goad; his niece Sue Goad; and his nephew Peanut Goad.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cassady Goad; his pets, Max, Potatoe and Maya; his daughter Teresa Goad Clark; his siblings, Anna Mae Reed (Terry), Carolyn Hogan (Joe) and Clyde Goad (Janet); his grandchildren, Jonathan Scott (Brittany), Joshua Scott, Montana Inman (Garrett) and Cassady Inman; and his great grandchildren, Dixie, Silas Scott, Levi and Colter Rich. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at the Patrick Memorial Gardens (20937 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Stuart, VA 24171).
