He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Robert Scott and Hertha Orea Lawless Scott. He is survived by: his wife Vera Ann Turner Scott; his children, Amy Elizabeth Hensley (Don) and Jamie Leigh Scott (Jennifer); his stepson Richard Carl Whitlock (Donna); his grandchildren, Taylor Holleman (Justin), Spencer Hensley (Abbey), Mason Scott, Madison Scott, Mariah Scott, Millicent Scott and Maddox Scott; his stepgrandchildren, Carla Whitlock, Ashley Hale, Zack Hale, Caleb Hostetter, Chloe Hostetter and Riley Hostetter; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Jax; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Everly and Mackensie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elamsville Church of God of Prophecy (3441 Elamsville Rd, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
