She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rucker Belton and Mary Lucinda Rakes Belton (Mollie); her husband Alvin Preston Hazlewood; her siblings, Jack Belton, Evelyn Hazlewood, Edith June Cox and Mary Jane Harris; and her half-siblings, Mabel Light, George, James and Eugene Belton.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Hazlewood (Angel), Melanie Culler (Gerald) and Kim Sheppard; her sister Pat Tolson (Bruce); her grandchildren, John Laprad (Amber), Andrea Sheppard, Joshua Hazlewood, Chase Hazlewood, Kaitlyn Hicks (Joshua), Kylene Parsley (Hank) and Brandon Wilson (Ashley); and her great great grandchildren, Declan Sheppard, Dayton Pack, Ainsley Parsley, Lillian Laprad, Olivia Laprad, Ellie Comer and Judith Wilson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the BIG A Church of Christ (3068 Big A School Rd, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
