With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorie Ann Spencer Turner of Stuart, Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Mae Hoyle Pierce; her grandparents, Ada Carter Spencer and Woodrow Spencer; her stepmother Jane Spencer; her uncle Hubert; and her aunt Shirley Ashley.
She is survived by: her father Clarence "Bud" Spencer; her husband Michael "Mike" Turner; her son Brandon Turner (Samantha); her siblings, Barbara Spencer (Greg), Tina Kendrick (Gary), Joe Pierce (Susie) and Jon Pierce (Heather); and her sister-in-law Brenda Linkous (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Bassett Chapel (1230 Oak Level Rd, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
