He is survived by : his son Tommy Knowles (Angel Blanchette) of Alden, Michigan; his grandchildren, Keegan Knowles, Aidan Knowles, Ava Knowles and Lydia Knowles; his great grandchild Cecelya; his stepson Johnny Motley of Stuart; his stepgrandson Michael Motley; and his sisters, Carlene Inman of Stuart and Lena Inman of Martinsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at the Patrick Memorial Gardens (20937 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Stuart, VA 24171).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PAWS (Patrick Animal Welfare Society), P.O. Box 743, Stuart, VA 24171 or to Trinity Baptist Church in Westfield, North Carolina.
