With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Lorraine Owen Eaton (Stuart, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Sandra Lorraine Owen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Sandra Lorraine Owen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Jane Tetrault and Allen Owen; her son Thomas Eaton; and her brother Allen D. Owen. She is survived by: her daughters, Noel Chaney (Tommy Chaney), Lorraine and Crystal. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
To celebrate Sandra's life we ask in lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in her memory to a local animal rescue or shelter, honoring her lifelong love of animals — and/or, in Sandra's spirit, stop by your nearest nursing home, visit a resident who may not receive many guests, and brighten their day with a bouquet of flowers.
