She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Mize and Ruby Mae Crigger Mize; her daughter Rebecca; and her siblings, Mary Ruth Lemons, Judy Carol Harris, James Leon Mize and Douglas Arthur Mize.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Faye Mitchell and Donald Wayne Pickett; her sister Brenda Mize Dickson; and her nephew Christopher Gene Hopkins. She is also survived by several grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fair Haven Memorial Park (18960 A L Philpott Hwy, Spencer, VA 24165).
