She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hoover and Thelma Hoover. She is survived by: her daughters, Melody Long (Andrew) and Robin Michael (Chris Brown); her grandchildren, Curtis Long (Christa) of Arlington, TX, Seth Long (Katherine) of Ardmore, PA and Kallie Brown of Harrisonburg; her great grandchildren, Audrey and Nora Long of Texas; her siblings, Linda Will (Jim) of Bluegrass, Vickie Hoover of McDowell, Dennis Hoover of McDowell and Connie Hoover of Afton; and her siblings' children, Kitty Rexrode (Nic) of Franklin, WV and Jamie Will (Erin) of Monterey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home (619 Lifecore Dr, Fishersville, VA 22939). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
