She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Magdalene Fitzgerald and Ernest Hoy Fitzgerald; her husband L. A. "Buddy" Lunsford; and her brothers, Larry Dale Fitzgerald and Ernest "Buck" Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Lunsford (Carman) and Jeanie Lunsford Siron (Kevin) of Lyndhurst; her stepchildren, Ramona Wallace of Baltimore and Rodney Lunsford of Harrisonburg, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Steven, Austin, Landon Lunsford, Lucas Siron, Taylor Weade and Allyson Lunsford; her great grandchild Presley Lane Siron; and her brothers, Ronnie Fitzgerald (Nancy) of Crimora, Ken Fitzgerald of Waynesboro and Gary Fitzgerald of Waynesboro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes (618 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sherando Community Church (2022 Howardsville Turnpike, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477).
