We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2025, at the age of 83, James Joseph Mahoney of Stuarts Draft, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Joseph Mahoney to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anne; his children, Allison, Martin, Stephen, Sharon and James; his grandchildren, AJ, Grace, Nora, Sophie, Kiera, Stephen and Zoey; and his parent Irish.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDow Funeral Home (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church (301 Sheppard Ct, Waynesboro, VA 22980).

Contributions in Jim's memory may be made to the Augusta Health Shenandoah House (https://www.augustahealth.com) in lieu of flowers.
