We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 65, Jon G. Newman of Stuarts Draft, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Glenn and Betty Ann Hill Newman; his sister Linda Kay Newman; his parents-in-law, Kelly Elwood Coffey, Jr. and Glenna Coffey; and his close friends, John Harvey Loan and Dave Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Diane Coffey Newman; his daughter Renee Diane Newman Krieg (Aaron Joseph Krieg); his sister Jane Ellen Newman Fisher (Lex); his grandchildren, Lillian Kay and Cody Kreig; his brother-in-law Roy Dale Coffey (Janice); his nieces, Sarah Coffey Pruett, Katie Fisher Bridgen and Rebecca Fisher; and his close friends, Chris Marks, Bobby and Sherrey McCauley.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
