She was predeceased by: her husband David Caskie Fitzgerald; her parents, Charlie Cline and Frances May Trent (Dawson); and her siblings, Mike Trent and Katherine Trent.
She is survived by: her children, David C. "Putt" Fitzgerald, II (Sylvia) of Stuarts Draft and Brittney G. Penny (Daniel) of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Tyler, Dustyn, Eryn, Aidan, Riley and Liam; her great grandchildren, Adalyn, Octavian and Nicholas; and her siblings, Mary Alice Trent of Stuarts Draft, Margaret Joy Taylor of Stuarts Draft, George Trent (Jean) of Waynesboro, Benny Trent of Stuarts Draft, Charlie "Moo" Trent (Carolyn) of Waynesboro and John W. Trent of Stuarts Draft.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942.
