He is survived by: his wife Kathy Garth of Stuarts Draft; his stepdaughter Marnie Painter (Andy); his brother Mike Garth (Patricia); his grandchildren, Jacob Painter, Austin Painter (Ashton), Kaitlyn Painter, Daniel Hutchinson and Destiny Hutchinson; and his great grandchildren, Fern Painter, Nelli Painter and Jodan Hutchinson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memory Gardens (1921 Shutterlee Mill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401).
