He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hall, Sr. and Flora May Smiley Allen; his sons, Ronl Steven and Mark Anthony Allen; and his siblings, Roy Hall, Sr., Russel "Bill" Wilson, Robert Kline, Carl Davis, Sr., Marvin Lee Allen, Maxine Thelma Allen Loan, Emma Frances Allen Rankin and Vera Mae Allen Fabig.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Byrd Allen; his daughter Kimberly Lynn Allen Nelson (Gary); and his grandchildren, Brandon Allen (Sara), Amanda Allen, Steven Allen, Jennifer Allen (Amy) and Lauren Maddox (Jeremy). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
