He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Glass; his siblings, Melvin Glass (Jean), Bertha Rawley (Terry) and Roy Melvin Glass, Jr. (Debbie); his sister-in-law Patsy Glass; his stepchildren, Kim Boatner (Charlie) and Lane H. Dedrick II (Tonya Knous); his stepgrandchildren, Stacy Hipes, Mariah Dedrick, Kyler Dedrick and Brooke Boatner (Robert Akers); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaiden Shiflett and Jace Hipes; his niece Cindy Moleiro; and his pet Snickers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes (618 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church (901 Shenandoah Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
