He is survived by: his children, Rose Jones, Greg Wilkins, Donald Jones (Michelle) and Aligin Collins; his siblings, Eleanor Jones, Laura Jones, Wilbert Jones, Larry Jones (Lisa) and Russell Jones (Geraldine); his grandchildren, Javier Jones, Neiamiah Villanova, Damon "Monty" Jones, Brandon Jones, Felicia Jones, Christopher Jones and Qinton Jones; his great grandchildren, Steven Jones, Spencer Jones, Bryon Jones, Maurice Cooper, Xavier Jones, Sean Lewis, Jaida Lewis, Anaya Smith, Sa'nya Stith, Ky'liek Jones, Jo'nae Jones, Josiah Jones, Jamari Jones, Snow Jones, Alycia Jones, Jocelyn Jones and Dequan Jones; and his close friend Marie Rawlings. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc. (102 South Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803-4220). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (925 Arlington Rd, Hopewell, VA 23860). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
