It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Bailey of Suffolk, Virginia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Byron Kilpatrick and Mildred Robinson Kilpatrick; her son Robert Edward Bailey; her aunt Mary "Dee" Robinson; her siblings, Margaret Adams (Joe), Anne Wakefield (Maywood), Janie Baker (George), Barbara "Bobbie" Zibelin (Johnny), Shirley Shannon (James), Mildred "Honey" Moore (Paul), Mary Vincent Fussell (Dewey), Thomas Leo Kilpatrick, Jimmy Kilpatrick (Catherine), Frank Kilpatrick (Irene) and Al Kilpatrick (Janie); and her sister-in-law Barbara Kilpatrick.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Earl "Nick" Bailey; her daughter Beth Anne Gavin; her grandchildren, Megan Gavin, Morgan Gavin and Brennan Gavin (Victoria); her great grandchildren, Christian, Cara, Chloe Jackson, Kaleigh Boals, Abbigail, Olivia Breuhl, David Lethig, Brayden and Mila Gavin; and her brother John "Butch" Kilpatrick of Rocky Mount, NC.
