He is survived by: his children, James Bynum of Jacksonville, NC, Andrea Bynum of Hampton, VA and Natasha "Dae" Bynum of Norfolk, VA; his former wife Mary Bynum of Suffolk, VA; his grandchildren, Jordan Bynum, Andrew Bynum, Aaron Bynum, Elijah Chrispin, Alanah Chrispin and Paris Ward; and his siblings, Lenora Jones, Ricky, Gaffell "Darrell" Bynum, Deborah Riddick (Major) and Mary Speight. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. (900 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
