She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudia Melvin Hawkins and Nellie Hawkins; and her sister Mildred H. Parker. She is survived by: her siblings, Melvin Hawkins (Gloria), Ethel Britt (Willie), Elder James Hawkins (Joyce), Mary Hawkins, Diane Diggs, Dorothy Hawkins and Jackie Ross (Edward); and her nephew Duntoris Hawkins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the T. E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home (405 Johnson Ave, Suffolk, VA 23434). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
