He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Esther Love Roane; and his significant other Margaret Brownley Roane. He is survived by: his children, David Roane (Wendy) and Nancy Barnard (Gerry); his grandchildren, Brandon Roane (Robyn), Ashley Rogers (Mike), Bonnie White (Nick), Zachary Barnard and Avery Barnard; and his brother John Roane (Neva). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
