We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2026, at the age of 80, Barbara Faye McClenny Babb in Suffolk, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barbara leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Gurvis McClenny and Lessie Mae Copeland; her sister Charlotte Marie Jernigan; and her brother-in-law Roy Rogers Jernigan. She is survived by: her brother Buddy McClenny (Wanda); and her niece Teresa Richardson. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, a whole lot of kinfolk, and friends.
