She is survived by: her husband Curtis Lee Sumpter Sr.; her sons, Curtis Lee Sumpter Jr. (Irenilde) and Charles Ronald Sumpter (Tammy); her grandchildren, Ashley (Mike), Briana, Nicole, Curtis III and Julia; her great grandchildren, Owen and Wesley; and her sister-in-law Vermelle Byrd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
