He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Arthur Plewes, Sr. and Sadie Elisa Tuttle Plewes; his wife Betty Sue Knight Plewes; his son Timothy Leland Plewes; and his stepson Nathan Knight Perry.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven A. Plewes (Jan) and Matthew W. Plewes; and his stepchildren, Charity Kaye Perry, Troy Michael Perry and Darren Todd Perry (Donna). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parr Funeral Home and Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434).
