It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Cutchins Ellis III of Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Susan McFatter and Michael McFatter; his granddaughter Lauren Liverman; his great grandchildren, Carter and Brooklynn; his sister Barbara Babb; his sibling's children, James Turner, Michael Westnedge Jr. and Kristie Anderson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma and Ryan Joyner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434). A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (102 Mahan St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the American Diabetes Association.
