She was predeceased by: her father Robert Turbyfill; her husband Donald D. Ambrose; and her sister Marie Lovett. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Hales (R. B.), Wanda Jordan (Shawn), Cynthia Ambrose, Phillip Church (Donna), Danny King (T. G.) and John King (Melissa). She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be offered to New Life Apostolic Church.
