As Bill departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bill. Though Bill may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Joe and June Staley. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Marie Staley; his daughter Kristen Marie Staley; his grandson Jackson Applewhite; his siblings, Steve (Susan Staley), David (Paula Staley) and Mary (Mike Fisher); and also Christiaan Applewhite. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, a great niece and great nephews.

“So sad to hear of his passing...I had come to visit him in the hospital only 4 days before...He and I were good friends in our fun Beatles musical tribute for quite a few years. But alas, things and circumstances change, and we didn't cross paths again for almost 12 years. Learning of his illness by his wife and now widow, I knew I needed to visit just to let him know I cared about the friendship we had all that time.”
