She was predeceased by: her mother Flossie Mae Darden; and her brother Leonard Darden of Suffolk, Virginia.. She is survived by: her siblings, Yvonne Davis-Fagbuyi (Helen D. Davis), Herbert N. Darden and Denvip Davis (Edith); her stepson Samuel T. Fagbuyi Jr.; her stepgrandchildren, Samuel T. Fagbuyi III and Arnecia McNelly; and her close friends, Nathaniel Blow, Weriely Booth, Dineen Joyner-Mitchell and Joan Scott.
